Overview

The DNS Risk Management Framework Working Group (DNRMF WG) is a Board initiated WG which is charged to develop goals and milestones towards the implementation of a DNS security risk management framework for Internet naming and address allocation services, accompanied by defined timelines and budgetary implications. Further, the DNRMF WG is tasked with oversight of the creation of an initial assessment that will serve as a baseline.

Following useful discussions with the community in Prague, a Request for Proposals was launched, and a consultant contracted to do the preliminary study which is expected to contribute to the ongoing in-house development of an effective, sustainable DNS Risk Management activity, in consultation with interested members of the community.

This third Workshop will provide all interested parties an opportunity to meet the consultancy charged with carrying out the preliminary study early in the contract, to air their views and concerns, and to provide pointers to relevant work the consultant should be taking into account.

Who Should Attend? | This session is open to the community.

Agenda Details:

The Working Group and the consultants retained to support the DNS Risk Management Framework development will provide an update for the community on their work. This will also be an interactive session for community participants to ask questions of the consultants and the working group.
