This tutorial provides a basic overview of how the Internet protocols allow for information to be transmitted from a source to a destination. Topics explored will include a high-level overview of the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, how Internet addressing works, how routing of data on the Internet is done and challenges facing the underlying infrastructure of the Internet.
