The Newcomer Day Program is a series of informative, interactive discussions about ICANN and the Internet ecosystem held in a casual atmosphere led by staff and community members.
1000 –1200 Members of the ICANN Global Stakeholder Engagement team representing the Europe and Eastern Europe region will discuss the role of ICANN in the Internet Ecosystem and the Multi-stakeholder model
1330 – 1630 Interactive Discussion on the Work of ICANN
including: Policy Development and Support, the IANA Function, DNS Industry Engagement including GTLDs, Security, Stability and Resiliency work and Planning Your Week Advice
1630 – 1730 Informal Break out Groups hosted by staff and community members focused on how: End Users, Private Sector, Technical/Security, Civil Society and Gov't Sectors work within ICANN
