For the past three years I have worked as a legal advisor at the Presidency of Brazil, covering Human Rights issues and being responsible for issuing legal opinions on the implementation of the Brazilian Access to Information Act. In that capacity, I have also participated in the regulatory discussions regarding Marco Civil da Internet and Data Protection bills. My public sector experience includes activities in policy-making and legislative affairs, as well as managerial positions. As Im pursuing my masters degree, my focus will be in the importance of transparency in the different governance models of the Domain name System.
