Contribute to the development of the Review Operating Standards that will guide how ICANN Specific and Organizational Reviews are conducted. The creation of Review Operating Standards has been mandated by ICANN Bylaws (Section 4.6) which state “Operating Standards [for Reviews] shall be developed through community consultation”. In response, ICANN is seeking community input to draft Operating Standards to provide a system to conduct Specific and Organizational Reviews. This will include best practices to consider as well as key issues such as the selection of Review Teams (for Specific Reviews) and the question of how to amend/modify the Operating Standards. Operational Standards are needed to help ensure that the Review process is executed in an efficient, effective and consistent manner. This is critical to helping ICANN Reviews continue to be effective in assessing the way in which ICANN and its Supporting Organizations (SOs) and Advisory Committees (ACs) are operating effectively, achieving their purpose, and are accountable to the stakeholder community. This is your opportunity to provide feedback into the processes of drafting the Review Operating Standards as well as its substantive content.
