NomCom Review: Implementation Planning Team Public Meeting

NomCom Review: Session with the Implementation Planning Team Participate in the face-to-face meeting of the NomCom Review Implementation Team (IPT). Following the submission of the NomCom Review final report, the IPT is now in the process of considering the recommendations listed in the final report and to complete the Feasibility Assessment and Initial Implementation Plan (FAIIP). Once completed the FAIIP, together with the final report, will be delivered to the Organizational Effectiveness Committee (OEC) of the ICANN Board who, based on both documents, will make its recommendations to the Board on the review outcome and next steps. This face-to-face session will include an overview of the IPT’s work to-date to inform the community of the team’s progress and will receive feedback and input before the FAIIP is finalized. Time permitting, the IPT may also continue its work of assessing recommendations, with all community members invited to participate in the IPT’s discussion. Background Analysis Group, the independent examiner conducting the second NomCom review started their work in June 2017. They published the assessment report for public consultation in January 2018, and released the draft final report for public comment in April 2018.
