Session DetailsIn this special session, we will celebrate ICANN’s 25-year history and its impact on the development of the Internet as well as the achievements of ICANN’s multistakeholder governance model. ICANN Interim President and CEO Sally Costerton, will host a discussion with a panel of special guests to commemorate the past and discuss what the future has in store for the ICANN community.
Guest speakers include:
- Dr. Steve Crocker, former ICANN Board Member (2002-2017) and Board Chair (2012-2017)Mirjam Kühne, Chair of RIPE
- Anil Kumar Jain, Chair of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group
- Reema Moussa, former ICANN Fellow
- Alejandro Pisanty, former ICANN Board Member (1999-2006)
- Lawrence E. Strickling, former Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information and Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)
The session will conclude with an open mic portion, during which attendees will be encouraged to share their memories and stories about ICANN.
