Johannes Loxen is CEO of SerNet, Inc. in San Francisco and founder of SerNet GmbH, a German security management service provider with offices in Göttingen and Berlin.
SerNet produces SAMBA+, an open source SMB and IAM server for Linux and AIX. SAMBA+ is the only open source Active Directory Server for Linux and AIX. See: https://samba.plus.
SerNet also produces verinice - the only open source GRC, ISMS, DPMS and BCMS tool with more than 30.000 subscribers for ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX and other standards and laws. See: https://verinice.com.
Johannes studied physics and law at the university of Göttingen and holds a PhD in Astrophysics. He is active as Business Angel in several startups and member of the DENIC supervisory board. He also serves as commercial judge in Göttingen and plenary member of the chamber of commerce in Hanover, Germany.
