Session DetailsAs the WSIS+20 review reaches a decisive phase, the ultimate outcome document is poised to shape how the internet is governed for years to come. This session brings together voices from the technical community, civil society, governments and other stakeholders to compare perspectives, surface areas of convergence, and map concrete opportunities for joint advocacy that safeguard an open, global and interoperable internet while advancing human rights. This session will focus on three key areas of the Zero Draft; the multistakeholder approach to digital governance, digital inequalities beyond connectivity, and internet fragmentation.
By the end, attendees will understand the perspectives of other members of the ICANN community and stakeholders they may not usually hear from on key topics in WSIS+20 and have a clear understanding how to affect change.
