Press & Media Information
ICANN welcomes media and press participation in its meetings. The next round of ICANN meetings will be held in Cairo, Egypt, on March 7-10. For those unable to attend in person, ICANN will be providing a realtime multimedia webcast -- including video, audio, and realtime scribe's notes -- for the main plenary sessions, including the ICANN Public Forum and the ICANN Board meeting.
Pam Brewster (contact info below) will be coordinating media availability for the ICANN Board, as well as additional media events. Members of the media are encouraged to contact Pam to schedule interviews (in person or by phone) and to get updates on schedules, agendas, etc.
HOTEL INFORMATION
The Cairo meetings will be held on March 7-10 at the Cairo Sheraton Hotel. Special room rates have been arranged by the local host committee for attendees at the ICANN meetings.
Further details, including a list of several alternate nearby hotels, will be posted shortly.
