Mr. Tahir-Kheli is an Applications Development Manager at ICANN. He has 24 years of experience in the field of computer science and applications development. Before joining ICANN, he helped develop large database and image processing software for the ground-based telescopes at the Keck Observatory in Mauna Kea, Hawaii under the auspices of NASA/JPL and the California Institute of Technology's Department of Astronomy. In addition, he has developed auction-based software programs for the B2B and corporate procurement markets, as well as an award-winning e-commerce website for the United Nations. Mr. Tahir-Kheli was with USWeb/CKS in the Mitchell Madison Group unit. Prior to MMG, he worked with neural networks, genetic algorithms, and other mathematical modeling mechanisms at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
