It appears that ICANN has entered into an agreement to allow the company,
Network Solutions, to own and sell Internet domain names.
Instead of the previous $150 registration charge to own a domain name, they
are charging $70 to "save" a domain for only two years.
It appears that Network Solutions stands to make billions off the "ownership"
of the Internet than ICANN has apparently granted them.
What other options are there to secure a domain name without paying biannual
fees to Network Solutions for life?????
