In all the recent noise it's easy to lose sight of something simple: ICANN is much better than what we've had.

NSI is a government sponsored monopoly guided by a board of, to be polite, "military-industrial types". There is no credible third choice. Destroying ICANN would guarantee NSI's power for years more

The people at ICANN are taking fire to increase freedom. There is no act more honorable or admirable.
