What is the origin of the "create a stronger internet identity" by
registering .org and .net? 
Profit?  Who at Network Solutions came up with the bright idea for that
one? 

Lets say that you go to http://www.networksolutions.com/ and type in aname,
and that for sake of 
example "aname.com" is available, here is what the response is: 

aname.com is available. 

          These Web Addresses are also available!
          Register your name in all 3 extensions (.com, .net, .org) to
create a stronger Internet identity.
          Just click the box next to each Web Address you want to register.
         
               aname.net 
               aname.org 

Any chance of getting Network Solutions to immediately cease and desist?
