catergorising .com etc

To whom it may concern.

Having been informed of your existence by a colleague, I felt obliged to
offer this suggestion, if you are not the appropriate body but do know
of it please pass this on.

 I realised some time ago that the three letter suffix in domain names
could be the most suitable way of catergorising and controlling web
content. Eg:
    .edu    universities/schools etc
    .org    business
    .xxx     adult material
    .com    communications, web channels etc

Imagine how much easier life would be for searching/filtering
information.  This is just a suggestion, I hope your the right people to
make it too.
