Description

  1. Is your organization constituted so that participation by
    individual Internet users who are citizens or residents of countries
    within the Geographic Region in which your organization is based will
    predominate in your organization's operation?

    Yes.
  2. Describe your organization's constituents/membership (number,
    citizenship/location, defining characteristic - e.g. profession for
    professional societies):

    ISOC-Bulgaria has 334 members, all of them individual Internet users,
    distributed all over Bulgaria, from students to the current President of
    Bulgaria, who is also a member.
  3. Explain the eligibility requirements (if any) for your
    organization's constituents/membership (if you provide a written
    application for admission as a member, you may attach a copy):

    Every Bulgarian, who is a member of the global Internet
    Society, is an
    honorary member of ISOC-Bulgaria (i.e. non-paying member).
    Application and
    acceptance are being done online, via <http://isoc.bg/memapply.html>.
  4. In what language/s does your organization conduct its business?
    Bulgarian.

    Yes.

    Board, consisting of 3 people, elected for 5 years, and General
    Assembly, consisting of all paying members. We also have a
    mailing list to
    provide members with questionnaires, etc.

    Yes.

    We do that with a mailing list, generously provided by
    ISOC-Luxembourg, and through work in WG, usually consisting of a

    most active members.
