Description

  1. Is your organization constituted so that participation by
individual Internet users who are citizens or residents of countries

Yes. Our organization encompasses the Territory of Nunavut, Canada.
  2. Describe your organization's constituents/membership (number,
    citizenship/location, defining characteristic - e.g. profession for
    professional societies):

We have 19 members. These members represent 18 different CAP sites in 16 of
Nunavut's 25 communities plus the Nunavut Department of Education.
  3. Explain the eligibility requirements (if any) for your
    organization's constituents/membership (if you provide a written
application for admission as a member, you may attach a copy):

Any group that provides public computer access can become a member of N-CAP at
no cost (plus one membership for the Department of Education).
  4. In what language/s does your organization conduct its business?
    English and Inuktitut
  5. Provide support for the statement that your organization is
self-supporting (by answering "yes" you confirm that it will not rely

Yes, we are self supporting and have been for the last five years. We rely on
funding from various federal and territorial government departments, not on ICANN.
  6. Describe your organization's structure (e.g. governing and
    decision-making bodies and processes):

We attain and then provide funding to support Nunavut's CAP program. This money goes towards

sites. We also take part in various projects to support internet access
    within Nunavut.
