New gTLDs
The workshop “New gTLDs – Shaping the Future of the Internet?” has been scheduled as part of the forthcoming ICANN’s meeting in Paris.
On behalf of PuntoGal –an initiative in favour of a domain for the Galician language and culture- it is our hope that during this session ICANN will establish definitive steps for the new gTLDs application process.
We feel it is of the utmost importance that the proposed schedule for the application process (announced by ICANN in the 30th and 31st international meetings in LA and Delhi) be implemented, as not only us, but also many other potential applicants, have been working long and hard to obtain a new
domain.
