The GNSO Policy Development Process Work Team team was tasked to develop recommendations for a new GNSO policy development process (PDP)). ICANN’s policies have wide-ranging impact on how domain names are handled in the gTLD environment, so the method of developing the policies matters. The PDP-WT presented its Initial Report, containing amongst others forty-five (45) draft Recommendations in Brussels (see http://www.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-2-31may10-en.htm) and opened a public comment forum. Following review of the public comments received and further deliberation on some of the outstanding issues, the WT is now in the process of finalizing its draft Final Report which will be published for public comment. This is a working session of the WT.
