Purpose
The first part of this session will include an overview by members of the RAA negotiation teams of the progress made during the RAA negotiations that have taken place since the ICANN Dakar Meeting.

Exploring the Technical Issues Relating to Online Identity/WHOIS Verification
The goal of this workshop is to have panelists describe aspects of existing online identity (with special interest in contact information) verification models, both inside and outside the DNS industry, and discuss (i) technical methods by which such models are implemented and maintained and (ii) management experiences associated with the models. The session will NOT focus on whether WHOIS verification should be pursued as an objective or the policy implications of implementing such a regime in the ICANN context.
