Of paramount importance to the implementation of the Africa strategy are the involvement of the African community on the one hand, and the strategic engagement with global domain name leaders and actors on the other hand. Indeed, the Durban meeting intends to launch a collaborative platform whereby global leaders support efforts which empower African registries and registrars, while deepening the African markets and offering opportunities for all. In that regard, global registrars are expected to provide insights on strategic marketing, business planning and business development as well as on management and technological choices.
