The goal of the ccNSO IDN Working Group is to provide advice to the ccNSO on the global policy issues (if any) associated with the introduction of IDNs:

1. at the second level of a ccTLD;
2. as a top level ccTLD; and
3. in respect to cross-over issues arising from the introduction of IDNs in new gTLDs.

A joint ccNSO/GAC Working Group has drafted an issues paper relating to the selection of IDN ccTLDs associated with the ISO 3166-1 two-letter codes.
This paper will form the basis of discussion of a joint meeting of the GAC and ccNSO in Lisbon.
