Important Updates

BIND 9.2.1 was released on May 1, 2002. BIND 9.2.1 is a maintenance release, containing fixes for a number of bugs in 9.2.0 but no new features.

ISC's BIND 8.3.1 was released on February 2, 2002. 8.3.1 contains a critical bug fix to prevent DNS storms. If you have BIND 8.3.0 you need to upgrade. We recommend all users of BIND version 8 upgrade to BIND 8.3.1.

ISC DHCP 3.0p1 was released May 8, 2002. This patch release fixes a serious vulnerability with older versions of the ISC 3 DHCP server.
