Materials on TLD Demand and Economic Analysis
Expansion of the namespace to allow the introduction of new gTLDs is a complex process involving technical, economic, operational, legal, and public policy issues. Study and consultation on economic considerations, including consumer welfare and pricing issues, have taken place as part of the development of the New gTLD Program. ICANN has commissioned a number of reports from independent experts to inform these issues. These reports and related public discussions are included on this page.
