DESCRIPTION: GNSO Non-PDP Data & Metrics for Policy Making In January of 2014, the GNSO Council adopted the Charter of this group, which is primarily focused on determining how data and metrics can improve the Policy Development Process (PDP). The Working Group has identified several sources of the data and metrics, which can include ICANN Contractual Compliance, contracted parties (i.e., registries and registrars), and 3rd parties. The Working Group has also found ways to encourage that data and metrics are thoroughly integrated into PDP deliverables, such as the charter, the issue report, and the Final Report. The Working Group is expecting to publish the Initial Report for public comment shortly after ICANN53.
