Subject: NSI: Does Anyone Know?
Does anyone know why NSI thinks that they have exclusive use rights to the
information in the whois database? Their latest notice (which now prints at
the end of a whois query) is really quite arrogant...however meaningless as
you certainly dont have to agree with it to use the datebase...but how a
company that was contracted to administer a public datebase somehow claims
exclusive ownership of the info seems rather ludicrous.
