I have questions on how this will be determined. I mean people have had names go into expiration because of this scandal. I just would like to see my domains movd to another registrar of my choosing not theirs.

The unlocking of domains ie the pending registrar transfer meaning the unlock code was sent to the loosing registrar and they have to approve for this to be sent. this sounds a bit unfair to some. Registerfly makes the issue worse by being rude as heck. People have to be patient.
LET ICANN try to make the situation better. You keep complaining also to other channels to keep up the pressure.

One issue we have to face is free speech.Yahoo got in hot water for turning in information which chinese used to arrestand and torture of political dissidents in that country. ISPS and other internet providers should never turn in user data which may lead to torture and imprisonment. In some cultures wearing the wrong clothes can get you arrested like what happened in iran. You probaby heard of death sentences being taken out because victims were doing stuff some felt were against islam.
There has to be a line between what is privacy and what is not privacy

I am glad to see more outside participation here on the blog. I usually keep a few links for translation plus google has a built in translator for some languages.
It is all about being mindful and knowing a little of the linguistics. I used to host backgammon in multi lang with help of some brazilians.

There has been a recent announcement that some of the royalty fees for internet based radio stations were going up. This could be the death for some stations because they rely on donations to even acquire legal music.
DMCA is being abused and innocent people suffer.Apple decided to make music that can be played on any player and not just one player.
Digital music is outpacing CDS. This is not surprising. Internet radio is big business. Radio companies could earn extra money by promoting concerts on net stations at a cheaper rate than traditional streams.

One thing is troubling about the price of domains. There should be a maximum that someone could charge for a domain. Also, ICANN needs more teeth to be allowed to take control of a registrar completely in a situation such as this to see what happened. ICANN should be taking over a registrar in instances like that for the public good.

The price of domains is going up. The problem with that is that some of us may have to reregister domains if some reason during the Registerfly mess they are lost. One thing is certain. Life is challanges.

I think we should be a bit nicer to Kie. They are doing the best possible with limited information. Registerfly is delaying tactics to keep a float. Customers are anxious because for some time is money. If someone looses a domain because of Registerfly's misdeeds and it can be proven then they should get it back.

Everyone needs to remain calm. We must stay together on this.
