ICANN Meetings in Stockholm

1 - 4 June 2001

The ICANN Meetings in Stockholm have now concluded. ICANN would like to thank all of the meeting sponsors without whom the meeting would not have been possible.

ICANN's next round of meetings will be held on 1 - 4 June, 2001, in Stockholm, Sweden. ICANN encourages broad participation in its bottom-up consensus-development process by all interested persons. The meetings are free to attend. On 5 June, there will be a meeting of ICANN's At Large Study Committee in the same venue as the usual sequence of ICANN meetings.

Please be aware that there are a number of events being held in Stockholm around the time of the ICANN meeting, so early hotel booking is strongly recommended. Because there is a shortage of hotel rooms, a group of rooms has been set aside with a local Conference Organization.

The Host Committee has provided an excellent local website with information regarding the area, the meeting and local hotels.

The ICANN meetings directly precede INET 2001, the Internet Global Summit, which is taking place at the same venue on 5 - 8 June 2001. The co-location of the ICANN meetings alongside INET 2001 allows for travel-efficient participation in two terrific sets of events.

Details about the meetings are being posted on this page as they become available. Please check back often!
