I got this notice from Molly today just as Bob Allisat did.

The post that she stopped from going to the membership list
was an important post for the membership list. And
what is interesting is that the list comes out of an edu
domain and is being financially supported by big corporate
entities who will do what they can to keep public voices
from being heard.

That is why the U.S. government is going to such great extremes
to hide its actions behind this charity incorporation.

So it is free to give away the public assets to its big boy
buddies for their dirty dealings. Otherwise they wouldn't
have to hide behind Frameworks for Electronic Commerce
and White Papers and Green Papers and calls for comments
that are totally irrelevant to the real deeds being done
behind the scenes to change the public Internet into
a private plaything for the content providers and the other
sleeze artists of yesteryear.

In the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. government
and ICANN they call for a design and test prototype,
when there is *no* design and test to be found for miles
around ICANN, but instead a carefully crafted time-table
and agenda by who-knows-whom for the biggest giveaway of
public treasure ever.
