ICANN Registry Proposal

Registry Operator's Proposal - BUSINESS CAPABILITIES AND PLAN

D13.1.5. Mission. The registry operator's mission and how it relates to expansion into the registry operation field.

WebVision’s mission is to be the premier provider of complete Internet infrastructures and support services for Application Service Providers (ASP’s) as well as businesses transforming themselves for the new Internet economy. WebVision offers a unique mix of Internet systems consulting, technology and infrastructure services, either as one package or a la carte. WebVision offers a simpler, more reliable way to operate and maintain an e-business. WebVision is helping define the next generation Internet (“NGI”) outsourcing model in terms of fully integrated and managed e-business systems and related hosting, collocation, data storage, security, communications and support services.

WebVision's mission and existing infrastructure are suited to all aspects of the very demanding registry operation, especially in regard to a registry's need for fault-tolerant, fully-redundant, always-available services. Furthermore, WebVision's extensive knowledge of systems, databases, capacity planning, performance optimization and network operations address the registry's growth and stability needs.
