Dear Mr. Kane,
Thank you for your invitation to ETSI to participate on the Group One Registry
Advisory Board setting up policies for the operation of the new TLD.
Following your comprehensive proposal, ETSI welcomes your application to
ICANN for the operation of new TLD and I hereby confirm the existing support.
Concerning ETSI's timetable, I would like to inform you that your invitation to ETSI
for joining the Group One Registry Advisory Board will be submitted for
consideration to our up-coming ETSI Board Meeting, to be held on 25-26 October
2000.
However, as we are well aware that ICANN will be closing the application period
on October 2nd, 2000, we will be circulating your Registry Proposal to ETSI Board
members before October 1st, 2000 and we will further inform you on the outcome
as soon as possible.
