10:30-11:15 (45 mins): GAC Operational Updates

During this session GAC delegates will issue-spot several important upcoming initiatives covered by the committee's annual plan including, consideration of the ICANN Continuous Improvements Framework, conduct of the annual GAC leader election cycle for 2026. Time is also set aside to review the process for production of the ICANN85 GAC Communiqué with all committee delegates. The GAC will also discuss options for GAC contributions to future ICANN Nominating Committee activities.

11:15-12:00 (45 mins): GAC Meeting with the Address Supporting Organization (ASO)

The GAC will be meeting with the Address Supporting Organization (ASO) to discuss public policy matters of mutual interest and particularly on matters pertaining to the governance of the RIR system, including the criteria for the (de)recognition of Regional Internet Registries (ICP-2).
