Brief
New generic top-level domains began being delegated in October 2013. As more and more registries are delegated and launched, it is timely for Registries and Registrars to come together to discuss and share experiences on “what’s next” after delegation.
This session will start off with sharing from the Registry Services team and Technical Services team on the tools and means of communication between ICANN, Registries and Registrars.
We will wrap up the session with a panel discussion where registries and registrars can discuss and share their experiences on the operational issues they have encountered, the challenges faced and how they have overcame them. The panel will also explore the engagement, collaboration and communication between registries and registrars.
