I started working in the 90's doing my Accounting Articles
(equivalent of the American CPA). In around 1993, I
started implementing large scale Unix based accounting,
MRP and logistics based Information Systems.
After completing my accounting article (I have not completed
the necessary studies to complete this qualification),
and based on my experiences on the internet, I joined
a computer networking company and was instrumental in
setting up a small to medium (in the South African context)
ISP. During that time, my involvement in UniForum SA
made more and more demands on my time, and eventually
I made a decision to part from the ISP, set up my own
consulting company, and spend the necessary time on
.co.za naming issues.
