Personal statement: 1.: Take a look on what ICANN will take influence: http://www.icann.org/general/icann-org-chart.gif. 2.: Remark, what this will mean, when e.g. domestic appliances will deliver data to the internet. This means: ICANN is more than just a technical institution. The decisions of ICANN will be important for everybody. Therefore a representativ of the interests of the very, very normal users of the net has to become member of the ICANN board of directors.
