| I am working as a consultant in the area of new media since 1990: my responsibility at NEC was product development for New Media products. In 1992 I co-founded FREIRAUM, a consulting company for New Media and Internet Services.
Today I'm COO and member of the board of FREIRAUM AG and member of the board in WINSOME S.A., a European Agency Network In this function I'm involved in the daily operation of international networks.
I know from first-hand experience what technical management and is really about. I have founded or participated in the startup and development of companies based on network technologies. As such I'm aware of the realities of business and finance.

| My candidacy is one that is founded on the belief that the Internet should not be controlled and dominated by any government. It is my position that individual people ought to have a major voice in the governance of the Internet. But not only by persons based in the USA - I would like to see the interests of Europe well represented within ICANN. I am a businessman - I have run and participated in Internet companies. As such I have managed employees and also revenues and expenses.
