QUALIFICATIONS
Statement addressing the candidates qualifications and experience specifically relevant to (a) ICANN's technical and administrative responsibilities, and (b) your leadership and policy-level roles.
I am currently Director of Internet Services for an ISP/ASP serving the southeast USA and have been there since 1996, and in that position have run DNS servers as well as web servers. I have obtained both initial and supplementary IP allocations from ARIN. Currently we host several hundred domains from a variety of registrars. I have been a more or less active participant/reader of both the inet-access and occasionally the NANOG lists. I am a member of the Internet Society and the Internet Service Providers Forum as well as ACM. I have been involved in datacommunications since I purchased my forst modem in 1981. I worked for USRobotics for several years providing hands-on support/testing in the building of WANs for a large farm equipment manufacturer as well as a large greeting card company. I have been "On the Internet" since 1992. I hold a BS degree in Computer Science.
