| La Internet es la herramienta mas poderosa jamas antes creada por el hombre. Lleva en si misma la capacidad de crear una sociedad distinta a la que actualmente conocemos. La decision de democratizarla abre la posibilidad de que sean los propios usuarios de Internet los que decidamos su futuro, y no intereses empresariares o gubernamental, es por eso que en estas elecciones es fundamental que los miembros de la Junta Directiva del ICANN provengan realmente de entre los usuarios de Internet, y no de empresas o de cualquier gobierno.
