Have taught > 400 adults on all aspects of Internet - what it is, how to browse it, get information, obtain a Web host or domain name, what TLDs are, who manages them, including free cc TLDs, the history & background dating back to Bitnet, LISTSERVs & NewsGroups, Gophers, Telnet; roles of organizations today in regulating & monitoring it, such as InterNIC, ICANN, W3C, IETF, governments, registrars; rights & responsibilities of users, publishers, registrars, and registrants, including privacy, security; free, open, uniform but volunatry participation; "rules" & "law" of the Internet, the digital divide,importance of early education in this technology, Et al. b)Ensure Internet remains free, open, uniform for users, inexpensive to all. Internet rules & laws are formed, are fair, and always followed by everyone, poor or wealthy, educated or not, active participant or passive bystander. Narrow digital divide in North America, Asia, and elsewhere. Proper balance between "virtual" and "real" in daily life.
