Statement addressing the candidates qualifications
and experience specifically relevant to
    (a) ICANN's technical and
administrative responsibilities, and
    (b) your leadership and policy-level
roles.
 |
| My technical experience is limited to doing the sysadmin job for my one-man-business' server. I do not seek a role in ICANN's policy making from this background, however. I would categorize myself as an educated user. An average Atlarge member. |

   (b) Ownership or investment interests in any ICANN-related businesses

(a) n/a
(b) I am the (sole) owner of a one-man-business, which provides services in the field of webpresence and editing generally. My company is the registrant of approx. 350 domains.

| BACKGROUND |
|
Background information, personal statement, URL, or other information
you would like posted in connection with your name on the ICANN
website.
 |
 | My self nomination springs from dissatisfaction with a number of recent developments on the internet, which give more and more power to the large companies, taking basic (human) rights away from smaller businesses and ordinary people.
Though I do not doubt their qualifications, many nominees put forward by ICANN for the Atlarge seats (especially as regards the European seat) are from a large business background (telecom...). I think these should not represent the *users* of internet, who are their customers. This would easily give rise to conflicts of interest. So, in case no better small guy or lady stands, I wanted you to have a choice. More information on:
