| I read law in England and France both to postgrad level. I decided to settle and work in Bordeaux with my German wife. I use the internet on a daily basis to keep in touch with friends, other notaires and clients. However, as a notaire, the issues that seem to me to be at the core of ICANN are very familiar to me, safety, confidentiality, freedom and how they relate one with another...

| I believe that the internet should not be a jungle where only fools and rogues can swim. I think that ICANN is essential to provide guidelines, creating safety and therefore enabling freedom to really exist. Beyond the issue of names is one of identity and capacity... and expectations to be protected!
