Overview

The 6th annual IGF meeting has been held in Nairobi on 27-30 September with over 2000 participants. This session is an opportunity for the ICANN Dakar participants to hear an overview of issues discussed as well as the takeaways from the Nairobi meeting. On the other hand, the CSTD Working Group on IGF improvements is going to convene in Geneva on 31-Oct to 2-Nov. Speakers of this session will share their views on improvements both through the IGF process itself and  the CSTD WG.

Agenda Details:

This is a panel discussion that will focus on:
-IGF meeting in Nairobi: what went well; what didn’t; feedback on workshop organized by ICC and ISOC on IGF improvements; messages and takeaways from Nairobi.
-Way forward: Discussion on IGF improvements; upcoming CSTD WG meeting in Geneva; preparatory process for next IGF.
