- Loren
D. Hollingsworth
- President
Mr.
Loren Hollingsworth brings to IEI extensive experience in
executive-level operations management.
He has worked for a variety of companies in positions
including Finance Manager, General Manager, and Director of
Operations. Most
recently he has been employed by Empire Homes, where he was rapidly
promoted from Finance Manager to Director of Operations to
President. Under his
direction as President, Empire Homes realized a 400% increase in net
profit in a single year, while reducing operating expenses by 30%.
Mr.
Hollingsworth is also responsible for founding The Utah Association
for Excellence in Forensics, a non-profit organization for which he
serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. The Association seeks to improve the quantity and quality of
forensic participation by Utah high school students.
Mr.
Hollingsworth attended the United States Military Academy in West
Point, and holds a degree in philosophy from George Washington
University in Washington, D.C.
In
his free time, Mr. Hollingsworth enjoys reading, music, and
philanthropic activities. He
lives in Holladay, Utah, with his wife, Kristin, and son, Matthew.

- Stephen William McLain,
- Executive
Vice President and Secretary,
- and Director of Corporate Security.
Mr. Steve
McLain has over 12 years’ experience in the technology and
computer fields, starting at Prosperity Enterprises, where he was
involved in converting manual business and accounting procedures to
a computerized system. More
recently, he worked at Communication Technologies, Inc., as
Technical Advisor to the President.
In this position, he was vitally important to various
projects, including software and hardware development for satellite
communications, internal computer network administration, and
Internet webmaster.
Mr. McLain also
has a strong background in security, having studied Criminal Justice
at the University of Wisconsin.
He has worked as a security officer for the University Police
Department, as well as Pinkerton Security Services.
At Loomis, Fargo & Co., Mr. McLain was responsible for
maintaining penny-for-penny control of millions of dollars of cash
and coin holdings. In
addition, he has worked as a corrections officer in a jail setting.
As Executive
Vice President and Director of Corporate Security at Internet Events
International, Inc., Mr. McLain is excited to combine his interests
in high technology and the Internet with his interest in security.
He has been instrumental in design of physical security for
the corporate buildings and compounds, implementation of security
policy, and coordination between physical security and data
protection.
In
his free time, Mr. McLain enjoys hiking in the mountains near his
home, target shooting, and surfing the Internet.
He lives in Sandy, Utah, with his wife, Laura, a
veterinarian.

- Brian
Burnett,
- Vice
President of Registration
Mr.
Brian Burnett is the original founder of Internet Events
International, Inc. His
corporation, Virtual Media International, Inc., founded with his
wife Jodi, sought to develop the on-line event industry.
Through its website, VMII collected market research on the
feasibility of event marketing via the Internet.
They then expanded the website into a virtual tradeshow, with
"pavilions" dedicated to banking and technology.
When ICANN announced their intention to name new Top Level
Domains, Mr. Burnett immediately thought of a TLD dedicated to
events, and thus .event
was born.
Mr.
Burnett was born in Scotland, and lived in Australia until 1997 when
he moved to the United States to start Virtual Media International.
In Australia he worked in a variety of technology-related
capacities, including computer network support and training, and
Internet website design.
In
his free time, Mr. Burnett enjoys designing Internet websites,
watching movies, and planning future developments for IEI.
He lives in Orem, Utah.

- Neal McLain,
- Vice
President of Policy
Mr. Neal McLain
has been involved in the Communications industry for over thirty
years. He holds a Master's degree in Radio and Television from the
University of Michigan. He
has worked for a variety of cable television systems, including
Complete Channel TV, Comcast Corp., and Warner Cable Communications,
holding positions of Director of Engineering and Director of
Operations. Most
recently he has worked as Project Manager for Communication
Technologies, Inc., in engineering consulting, software and hardware
development, and satellite communications control systems.
In various
positions, Mr. McLain has been instrumental in policy development
and regulatory (e.g., FCC) compliance.
He is the author of numerous publications, including FCC
Compliance Audit Checklist, Geostationary
Orbits, and Broadband
Networks. He is a
member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Society of
Cable Telecommunications Engineers.
In his free
time, Mr. McLain enjoys rewiring the electricity in his house,
designing Internet websites, and listening to classical music.
He lives in Hooper, Utah, with his wife, Ann, a biologist.
