Overview: 

The Geo TLD Registries Interest Group (Geo IG) is an interest group formed within the Registry Stakeholder Group (RySG). The Geo IG unites the registry operators or applicants of new TLD's that refer to geographic names, identifiers or origins. The Geo IG's aim is to organize face-to-face meetings at each ICANN round of meetings and to discuss among its members every subject or issue that is of interest for registry operators of a geographic TLD and to exchange views, practices and information or to discuss ICANN policy relevant to the Geo IG.
