Previous Head of Legal and Policy, NORID, the Norwegian Registry for Domain Names ( from September 2007 to 2016). Responsible for all contact with public authorities and universities, legal work and development of the name policy of .no. NORID’s representative in ICANN through ccNSO, in CENTR , IGF and other international organizations and meetings. Changed position in May 2016 to Special Adviser International Policy, leaving the responsibility for domestic affairs. Background from public sector as Head of Section, Network Addresses and Digital Signatures, The Norwegian Telecommunications Authority from 2000 – 2007, representing the Norwegian Government in the Governmental Advisory Committee in ICANN during the same period. I have been working with finding a way to use country & territory names as TLDs in a way all stakeholder groups can agree on. Acting as co-chair in the CWG UCTN since March 2014.
