Workshop: Translation Policy
What it is | A meeting to discuss the draft of ICANN's new translation programme. The programme's aim is to open up ICANN to equitable participation by non-English speakers.
Why it's important | It is vital to ICANN's future that non-English speakers are able to interact and participate with the organisation on an equal footing. ICANN has drawn up a translation programme that it will use to achieve this. This meeting is the biggest opportunity the community will have to discuss, review and propose changes to improve that programme
Who should attend? | All non-English speakers. And anyone else interested in learning about the complex issue of sharing large amounts of information with people across languages.
