RIA conducts public-interest research on ICT policy and regulation that responds to national, regional and continental needs. We work based on building a repository of African based evidence for policy making. My areas of research include prepaid mobile pricing assessment in 48 African countries; internet governance; and gender and ICT access and use issues. I am currently working on beyond mobile connectivity in South Africa: demand side perspective of public wifi access and use.
