Overview:
The session will open with a brief overview of the WHOIS program and the WHOIS Roadmap, highlighting interdependencies among the different projects and opportunities for Community input. The session will include panel discussions on current WHOIS issues, such as exploring possible identity validation checks as part of the future design of the WHOIS Accuracy Reporting System, the effectiveness of the 2013 Registrar's Accreditation Agreement WHOIS accuracy specifications, and the next steps for evaluating the EWG's proposal for a next generation registration directory service to replace the current WHOIS. The session will conclude with an open Q&A session.
