Question: Why is the icann vote organised at election.com (by the way, the vote bugged on an ASP error when I tried it ...) ?

So I am not shocked by the outsourcing of the election. The company was chosen after a selection process. Let us never forget this is a very innovative operation, hard to predict because of the lack of experience. I think the difficulties we are encountering are a small price to pay for such an innovative experience. Because of the high public awareness of the election, it is very important that the elections work fine. (especially it must be guaranteed that the elections are secure and anonymous). I do not know why Election.com has been selected to carry out the election. I have had nothing to do with this whatsoever, but I assume they have been selected for their price/performance.
