Topic: dot war top level domain

Question: reading the new TLDs recently proposed, i saw the .war domain. The birth of new TLD should be guided by ethical principles like respect of life and proibithion of sites regarding war ? There are plans for balancing the incoming .war, .firm and .biz TLD with .peace, .culture, and .humanrights TLD ?

I think that I cannot comment at this stage on specific new domain names the main reason being that I did not have accesss to the full applications. (To Jeanette: .war in the first applicant of ICANN's list posted Oct 3)

Excuse me, I can't find any .war TLD. The only confusing similar TLD ;-) is .wap. As far as the balance of TLDs is concerned, such an equilibrium could only be achieved through other applicants and applications. Alas, those have been explicitly excluded by means of a $50.000 non-refundable application fee...

I am sorry, but I cannot comment on specific new domain names until I have seen the full applications. The process must be first to find criteria for new TLDs, and then go through the applications and determine who meet the criteria.
